For some patients, chin liposuction and small skin removal is enough while for others the removal of excess skin and fat along with the tightening and restructuring of the underlying muscles are needed. The incisions are really small and are usually placed behind the ears and under the chin. During the surgery through these incisions the fat will be removed, after that the skin will be pulled taut, and the incisions will be closed.
