Does the VASER™ liposuction procedure hurt?

What should I expect after my VASER™ lipo in Poland?
The next day after the surgery, you may feel bruising and swellings in the area, that is why it is better to stay in the clinic so that the doctor will be able to see how the recovery goes. You will have compression garments on liposuctioned areas in order to improve the contour of your body.
What will recovery be like?
VASER™ liposuction is a surgery and there will be post-operative swelling, bruising, and numbness but as during the procedure local anesthetic is used and the skin layer suffers much less trauma the recovery after the procedure is faster. The body recovers faster from local anesthesia and usually on the second day after the surgery, you will be able to take care of yourself at home. For 2-6 weeks you should wear compression garments. Usually, there is no need for the surgeon to put in stitches, but if he did, they can be removed on the 7th day after the surgery. The healing time varies from patient to patient, but usually, in two weeks you will be able to come back to normal daily activities and exercises.
How long will my results last?
If you do diet and exercise regularly the results will be permanent.
How much weight can be removed with VASER™ Lipo?
Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure, the surgery is done to improve the body contour. The amount of fat depends on your personal case, however, no more than 4% of your body weight (about 3 liters) can be removed.

What should I eat after VASER™ Lipo?

If you decide to have VASER™ lipo in Poland you should come for 7 days. First day is the consultation and medical tests. The next day is the surgery, after which it is advised to stay at the clinic. Then you should stay at the hotel so that the doctor will be able to see how your body heals.
