      Buttocks augmentation is a plastic surgery procedure that is done to reshape and augment buttocks. Both men and women can have butt augmentation surgery, the procedure is often done on transsexual and transgender women to enhance more feminine form. Buttocks augmentations can be done with the use of different techniques most popular are gluteal implant and liposculpture also known as Brazilian Butt lift.

      What are possible procedures for buttocks augmentation?

      There are two most popular plastic surgery procedures for buttocks augmentation – Brazilian butt lift and butt implants. Brazilia butt lift is a combination of liposuction and fat transfer. Brazilian Butt lift surgery is known to be safer as the fat used for the transplantation is your own body substance, but at the same time, some transferred fat can be naturally reabsorbed by the body which means that the results can change during healing. Butt implants surgery has longer healing period but, usually, while the implants are placed they will stay at the same place forever.

      Who is a candidate for butt implants surgery?

      If you consider having butt implants in Poland you must be at least 18 years old in a good general and mental health. Usually, patients who do not have enough fat for Brazilian Butt lift turn to butt implants. You cannot have butt implants surgery if you have diabetes, infections, heart or circulation problems.       What type of anesthesia will I need?

      Gluteal implants in Poland can be placed under general anesthesia or under local anesthesia. You can decide yourself what type of anesthesia you want. If butt implants abroad are combined with other plastic surgeries general anesthesia is used.

      What are butt implants made of?

      Butt implants can be made of cohesive silicone or solid silicone. You will discuss what material is better for you during the consultation with your surgeon.

      What can be the shape of the butt implant?

      Where will butt implants be placed?

      There are three options where the incisions can be made: toward the top on both sides of the upper buttock; toward the bottom in both of the gluteal creases; and down the center of the sacrum. You will discuss which one is best for you during the consultation with your surgeon. In most cases, after the healing period, the scar is almost invisible.

      The price of the surgery depends on the geographic location of the country as well as the professionalism of the surgeon. Prices in Western Europe are known to unreasonably high, while in countries like Poland or Hungary you will pay less for the same level of materials and care.

      How long does it take to see the results?

      You will see the results right after the surgery, but as you will be swollen you may notice that implants sit quite high on the buttock. This is absolutely normal, remember that butt implants is a surgery and you need to give your body some time to heal. In most cases, the results which you have after three months will stay with you for years.

      How long do results last?

      The results of butt implants surgery are known to be permanent.

      How long should I stay in Poland after butt implants surgery?

      If you want to have butt implants done in Poland you should stay in the country for at least one week. First day you will have the consultation and medical tests, usually, the next day the surgeon can perform the surgery. You should stay one night after the surgery in the clinic, after that you can go to your hotel. As the surgeon needs to make sure that everything went well you need to stay in the country for 4 more days. The surgeon will give you his contact information so you will be able to contact him from home if you have questions.
