We present a few practical hints how you should prepare yourself for plastic surgery in Poland and aesthetic medicine procedures.
Table of contents
1. Your Purpose of plastic surgery
First of all you have to have a specified goal. If your goal is to improve appearance and self-esteem, then you should rather undergo a cosmetic surgery in Poland. If you want to improve the structure of your body which is distorted by congenital defects, trauma, infection, tumors or disease then you should be interested in the reconstructive surgery. Remember to get to know if the treatments of reconstructive surgery are covered by health insurance.
2. Realistic expectations about the effects
Your expectations must be realistic cause possibilities of treatments of cosmetic surgery are limited. Think about the construction of your body and the effect you want to get (breast implants procedure of 275ml may look different in case of various patients, although their height or weight may be similar). In any case, be prepared for
possible side effects of surgeries.
3. Be up to date
Try to find as much information about the surgery you have decided on, get all the information about the surgeon who is going to perform it and the clinic that will admit you. Be determined enough to contact people who underwent surgery similar to yours in the past. Certainly, they will tell you about their impressions, fears and, what is important, long-lasting effects.
4. Ask difficult questions
Consult a surgeon and search for answers to any question that bothers you. Ask your doctor about the benefits and risks associated with the surgery and tell them about your expectations and fears.
5. Choose an experienced surgeon
You should know whether your doctor is properly trained or has relevant qualifications and certificates. You want to have liposuction in Poland for example it must be a well-chosen doctor who can make your nose/lips/breasts even better than they are.
