Recommended exercises after liposuction
There are two types of exercises recommended after having liposuction abroad:
- aerobics – practicing it can be started even 2 days after liposuction. Of course, you start with simple walking on short distances. You are advised to walk inside your house or in your neighborhood because thanks to it you prevent blood clots. The key factor is that you listen to your own body and when you feel the activity is too intense or frequent, you should just slow down. With more strenuous aerobic exercises, e.g. jogging, riding a bike or swimming, you should wait at least 3 weeks.
- resistance exercises – you should wait about 2 weeks before starting resistance exercises. Obviously, in the beginning, the intensity should be low, and gradually you can increase it if you feel well. You should not push yourself or try to exercise too much. It is important that you exercise regularly, and the time and intensity is less important. Over time, you will feel that the exercises you practice are not enough and naturally you will add more sport to your life. The surgeons claim also that after your liposuction, you should wait about 8 weeks before starting the regular workout at the gym.
